Hello fellow golfers,
We at the GKGA want to extend our best wishes to everyone and continued good health to all of you, your family and friends. Our intent is to keep you informed of what we have been discussing as a group and our schedule of events as of April 13. We have three major announcements to communicate at this time:
- First, we are happy to announce that the GKGA Finale, which is a tournament for the top 12 players by points in the open and senior division, will be played on October 4th at Harbor Shores, home of the Senior PGA. So get out there and play in the tournaments listed below and gather points so that you can qualify for this amazing event!
- The other item of note is that the Shawn Boyd Tournament previously scheduled for April 25th and 26th has been rescheduled to the end of May. We are hoping that golf will be back to normal by this event. Please inform your partner!
- We are still planning on holding the Spring Medal (May 16th and 17th) but will have to revisit that subject in a few weeks as we see how the landscape develops. But for now… we are still on! Stay tuned
Shawn Boyd Spring Shootout – April 25th and 26th- The Medalist This has now been rescheduled for May 30 & 31. Registration for this event will be going out two weeks prior to the event.
GKGA Spring Medal – May 16th and 17th– Gull Lake Country Club Dan
Parker Team Challenge – July 11th and 12th– Bedford Valley/Stoatin Brae
GKGA Points Race – August 16th- Hawkshead Links GKGA Fall Medal – September 26th and 27th– The Moors
GKGA Finale – October 4th– Harbor Shores
