The Shawn Boyd Shootout is our first events for the year to clear out the cob webs.This two-day event is being held on April 27-28 and is also a 2-person Senior/Open Age Saturday Best Ball and Sunday Scramble.The event will be a 9:30 am Shotgun Start at Yarrow.
Steve Tyler Match Play
For more than four decades Steve Tyler dedicated his personal and professional life to the game of golf in the Kalamazoo area. Steve was a true ambassador to the game as well as a great friend to the GKGA and it’s participants. The significance of Steve’s contributions to the many clubs where he was a fixture over the years, the GKGA, the KJGA and junior golf in general cannot be overstated.
As many of you know Steve felt that the purest form of the game was match play. For this reason it is the GKGA’s great honor to re-name our annual match play event the Steve Tyler Memorial Match Play.
